The Aerator Roller is activated independently of the mower by its own switch. It is designed to use the Mower with or without the Aerator.
When used in Mulching Format (as opposed to collecting the grass)- the Optional Mulching Plug (please see below) is Fitted in the Grass Chute which causes the clippings to be very finely cut and returned to the lawn. These clipping will help to retain moisture and will act as a fertiliser.
